This project involved a side and rear single-storey extension to an existing residential property, designed to maximize internal open-plan spaces. The structure was ingeniously integrated into the ceiling voids, creating the illusion of a floating, open design.By concealing structural elements within the ceiling spaces, the extension maintains a clean and unobstructed visual aesthetic. This hidden integration allows for expansive, uninterrupted areas inside, enhancing the sense of spaciousness and connecting the new spaces seamlessly with the existing home. The result is a modern, functional extension that feels light and airy, while also being structurally sound and efficient.
