This project involved a substantial brick-built extension combined with an internal renovation, featuring expansive open-plan spaces. A standout aspect of the design was the architect’s vision to expose structural elements, creating pseudo space separations that added both functionality and aesthetic appeal.
The exposed structure not only defined distinct areas within the open plan but also served as a bold architectural feature, blending form and function seamlessly. The design required meticulous attention to detail to ensure the structural elements enhanced the visual character while maintaining the integrity and stability of the build.
