Overview
St Marys Hospital in the Phoenix Park is an existing Victorian building. We renovated numerous wards across all three floors and provided a new lift shaft to service the building. Considering the buildings significant conservation and heritage status, careful design and planning was required to achieve the structural modifications without undermining the buildings existing fabrics. The main focus was to enhance or remedy the existing structures to bring them up to a codified standard without taking away from the conservational characteristics of the building fabrics.
